What's a Fanlisting?
A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. (def. from thefanlistings.org)

Naegino Sora
A young girl from Japan who comes to America with a dream - to join the perfomance troupe known as the Kaleido Stage and be the best acrobat and performer she can be. She is also a little bit flighty, sometimes silly, but with a huge heart and a load of determination.
Ken Robbins
The backstage manager at Kaleido Stage, and the first person Sora meets there. At one time, he had the same dream as Sora, but his ambitions were cut short by a weak heart that keeps him from performing in the rigorous acrobatic shows. He's rather quiet and unassuming, but he carries a massive torch for Sora.
The Relationship
Although Ken is very obviously in love with Sora, it is equally obvious that she doesn't see him in the same way. (I don't know about the rest of you, but I've wanted to smack Sora upside the head a couple of times for not noticing Ken's affections toward her.) To Sora, Ken is a very dear, even a best friend. He is always there for her when she needs help; he encourages her and strengthens her resolve when she is shaken. In a way, too, Ken lives vicariously through Sora. She is accomplishing the very thing he wanted to do - to become a great performer at Kaleido Star. Because of his health, he can't do it himself. They give one another hope, hence the name of this fanlisting.
